Choose Life License Plates

What's wrong with Choose Life License Plates?

Many states have "Choose Life" license plate tags with the proceeds going toward getting more babies for people to adopt but NEVER to help mothers and fathers keep their children. Sound unbelievable? The "Choose Life" message is "Choose to surrender your child for adoption or get an abortion" - they won't help family members stay together.

Knights of Columbus: "Choosy Mothers Choose Life" ?

Driving home today I saw a large sign by the local Knights of Columbus:

"Choosy Mothers Choose Life".

OK. So a woman gives birth, then what? Why not have a sign that says:

"If you choose life, we will help you by kicking your child's father's ASS if he does not work with you in raising your child".

Well, the Knights of Columbus is a male organization. Many of the members have themselves contributed to a pregnancy (or two or three) by pressuring women to sleep with them and not concerning themselves with contraception. And they merrily join in suggesting that women who "choose life" and become mothers should have their children taken and used for adoption. How wonderful for these males to be able to dispose of their children. How sad for the moms who lose their own sons and daughters to adoption.

Men, stand up for women and children! Stop shirking your responsibility for pregnancy prevention and for children.

"I Regret my Abortion" Business Cards and Bumber Stickers

SilentNoMore has cards and bumper stickers and envelop stickers and bookmarks and more all saying "Women do regret abortions". No kidding. Some women are infertile as a result of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease due to infection which occured as a result of abortion. They regret their abortion so much they start looking to see how they can find some naive young mom's baby to take and use as their own.

Women are allowed to mourn the loss of an unborn child to abortion. But for some reason, those who have lost their already born son or daughter to adoption are silenced. Why? ADOPTION LOSS HURTS. Adoption loss is unecessary - just help moms keep their children!

Why is it considered "pro-life" to separate family members, taking babies from their mothers arms and providing them to unrelated people to use?

Many adoption promoters tell us moms "just don't want" their children - they want to dispose of their children. Can this be true?

For those mothers whose children have been adopted-out, the question is this: Do you want them to continue speaking for you and saying your child was "unwanted"? Was it your objective to get rid of your child like you would a tumor? Or would you have been happier if they had kindly provided real help so YOU could raise your child? How dare they promote the slogan "Life is precious" or say "A child is a gift from God" and then insist you give God's most precious gift to you away?
